CHILDREN'S MINISTRIES
The Children’s Ministry at GCF is the premiere ministry of the church. Leaders from nations around the world have come to study this model, so they can implement it in their network of churches back in their countries. The Westminster Catechism states, “The chief aim of man is to glorify God, and enjoy him forever.” We couldn’t agree more, and these two truths are foundational to the Children’s Ministry. We seek to develop the spiritual senses of our children so that they can enjoy the depth and quality of relationship with God that Jesus went to the cross to obtain for us. Out of this intimate relationship with the Lord, we seek to develop both Godly character and spiritual gifting’s, which bring glory to God. We serve a generational God – “I am the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob” – and so we are a generational church. We believe that “…out of the mouths of infants and babes you have ordained praise…” our children are our future, and that is why we place a priority on their generation.
SUSANNA SWEENEY | GCF CHILDREN'S PASTOR
As the Children’s Pastor at Grace Community Fellowship, Susanna brings an unmatched level of enthusiasm and excitement to the ministry of our younger saints. This passion flows from a calling to this ministry at a very young age, and a deep desire to see children take a large and active part in the life of the church. Having had the privilege of growing up in the GCF Children’s Ministry herself, it is now her joy to pass the baton in equipping and releasing the next generation.
JACKIE GROCE | CHILDREN'S LEADER
Jackie has been attending GCF Wharton for ten years. He is from Wharton and is currently a full time student at the University of Houston working on a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering. He has been faithfully serving the adult worship team well over 8 years. Shortly after high school, he felt God calling him to begin working with children in the area of worship, and currently spends time weekly raising up the next generation of worshipers by developing the children's worship team.
HANNAH GROCE | CHILDREN'S LEADER
My name is Hannah Groce. I work with the children's prayer group and I am involved in children's ministry. God has given me a strong desire to see chldren fulfill the plans and purpose's that He has for each one of us. I enjoy working with young people because they are teachable,so uninhibited,and easily encouraged to seek the Lord. I beleive God has an individual destany for each person and I am committed to helping young lives advance God's kingdom.
REBEKAH HADJUCEK | CHILDREN'S LEADER
My name is Rebekah Hajducek. I work with the Children's ministry, specifically with Children's Prayer. I have a passion to help young people recoginize the giftings and calling in their lives. I love working with kids because their hearts are pure and moldable. I believe the most important thing we can teach a child is how to hear God's voice. Because scripture says,"My Sheep listen to my voice and i know them, and they follow me." John 10:27
DANIEL SWEENEY | CHILDREN'S LEADER
Daniel Sweeney is a huge bonus to the Children’s Ministry Team. Having grown up in the ministry himself he brings an passionate encouragement to the kids around him. Leading them by example to worship with all their heart, move in their gifts, and obey the voice of God. Daniel is 16 years old. He was born with two holes in his heart and was not expected by doctors to live past 30 days. But God had another plan for this young man. His life preaches that by faith all things are possible with God.
